One feature you didn't mention that the 580EX has that I'm
discovering I really appreciate, which the 420EX didn't have, is the
7 degree down position for the head with the accompanying auto
power/range reduction. Used in combination with about a stop of
negative FEC, I'm getting some very nice macro results.
And yes, this is a very nice flash all around!
