Chris, Looks like the digital expansion dynamics surprised "serious" folks upstairs, and it's not Canon only. None of the makers was and still is prepaired, look at all the confusion with the formats and gimmicks with lenses. e.g. Nikon just started shipping D200 in earnest, and before they did it was of who announces and attracts *potential* buyers, Canon can not offer anything substantially different to replace 20D in such a short design-production-recovery cycle, etc. They are biting their own tails and it's up to the end-user whether to help them or not; like with any other markets we are liquidity providers. Demand is there, that's for sure.. Just curious why resale price for 1 Ds is so low?
