I'm very much needing to get my studio profiled/color managed. I've
been on the verge of buying the Monaco/Xrite EZ Color package, based
on some recommendations, but the other day I was looking through
Andrew Rodney's "Color Management for Photographers" and he basically
states that colorimeter-based systems weren't worth the trouble, that
a spectrophotometer system was the only way to go. So this kind of
throws me into a dilemma, since most of those start around $1200,
which I can't afford. I know there are other colorimeter systems to
consider as well.
Does anyone here care to throw in their observations?
