Excellent tactics. The one lens I use most of all i the 24-70, and I
would have to say wider rather than longer, so I guess the answer is there.

Indeed. I love the 85mm but it would be too limiting for me. The 24-70
less so, but I yearn for a prime. As I get older, I feel my photographic
desires changing. I dare say I'll end up as a crumpled old man,
wandering the streets with an M3 and 35mm, dressed in a shabby
macintosh, doing little dances on my tippy-toes.

Until then, I'll continue with the 1DmII and a few lenses, yearning and
searching for a racing pulse ;-)
