Also a former OM user. And I'm still waiting for a digital camera with as intuitive a metering system as the multi-spot metering on an OM-4t. I have used many B+W filters in the past, but from my experience the Hoya HMC and SHMC have performed best. I no longer use B+W. For the $$ I paid for the filters, I tend to protect them as much as I would the lens. Hence I only use them when needed and have the best luck with using the lens shade for protection. Seems the filters are more easily damaged. Digital cameras are even more sensitive to flare issues due to the reflective nature of the sensor. >...but enough from me about the non-EOS. I can't say that digital has improved my photographic creativeness other than the fact that I don't have to scan film or seek out some place to get it developed. However my camera bag seems to have gotten bigger and heavier.
