Why does that matter?  It's now 2007.  13 years later.

Again, I strongly disagree, at least for the lists I'm on.  If I was on a
mailing list that discussed 1200 baud and below modems, I'd agree.  Again,
none of the other lists I'm on have this issue.

OK, and of course, that's your prerogative...but how many people on this
list have a less than 56k Internet connection?  I'd suggest asking.
