Jim, In the Frontier speak they call it Image Intelligence or II. I print myself on Frontier 370 and it took me a few months to figure out all major hidden features. Excellent hardware and rather poor interface. Big difference if the lab tech knows what's what in it. They use strange and confusing naming conventions when it comes to curve adjustment be it film or digital source. Especially when you print from chromogenic films, hence the heated debate on Ilford vs Kodak. Both can deliver beatiful prints if operator knows what she is doing, can even give you an ortho look if you fight the unintuitive interface. And I agree on the excellence of its sampling algorithm. I have been printing jpeg small from 5D which is 4 Mpx on 10x15 inches with unbelievably good results.
