I was without one for a long long time (I used photo lab to print
photos), and recently decided to buy a budget one. For a little over 100
EUR I bought a Canon IP4300 and it looks stylish, prints FAST, the
price-performance (ink) is supposed to be one of the best.

I only printed 1 A4 photo since I bought it (to test), and it was ISO
3200 from 30D and it looks great. The colors are like on monitor (I use
Spyder to calibrate my monitor).

This printer can also print on both sides (useful for ordinary prints,
not photo prints :)).

There, my $0.02.

Miha

ps: I got all the cables in the package -- I was told that some printers
come without USB cables. There was no sample photo paper though (which I
would've expected, since my sisters ixyz had some samples with it). I
anticipated that and bought 100 A4 glossy photo papers when I bought the
printer. ;)

pps: while on the subject, does anyone cut A4 papers to A5 size to print
A5 images on it?
