Traveling with a digital camera that uses disposable AA batteries:

These compact cameras EAT AA batteries. My guess is that you would run
through 1 to 2 sets per day (depending on how many shots you took).
You'd want rechargeable AA's and a charger at the very least.
Those Lithium-Ion batteries hold a lot of power and need to be changed
much less often than the NiMh rechargeable AA's or even the disposable kind.
