Thanks for your reply Stuart. I had inadvertently changed the data type from Ascii Text to Metastock in the downloader.
The downloader doesn't present an error message when it finds no Metastock formatted data in the file, so I had no clue until you caused me to go back over each detail and found the cause of my problem.
