Believe it! I upgraded from Version 11 to MetaStock 12 on 20 Dec 2012...Called them on 21st Dec for a refund. First MetaStock program which I have returned.
Bottom line - if you are out of WiFi/internet range the program is worthless. Cannot Open or do anything with it. This rules out taking your laptop on vacation or weekends in a lodge,, where you do not have internet connection, and expecting you will do some exploring/testing of formulas. No amount of "Spin" alters that fact. Hold on to your previous versions....
