Hi Kathy,
Why not pickle your engine? It's no big deal, you know. All the
mechanic does is drain the oil, put in pickling oil, run the engine for
a while (flying for a while is best) and sprays more oil in the spark
plug holes. In a dry climate like Arizona installing desiccant plugs is
probably unnecessary.
