Gary, I was told by Mike Woytovich at Univair that the best way that he knew of to comply with the AD is to replace the beaded skin with a flat skin, then install the inspection holes.

what do you mean that there isnt enough room? Will you end up cutting
into one of the beads?

One thing that I was taught when I got my IA, is that when complying with
any AD you (the IA/A & P) can legally make minor alterations in the
process of complying with the AD. If I remember right, it was one of my
written test questions on the IA test. This allows for minor variations
from airplane to airplane.   Just what would actually be required to get
the holes and rings installed?
