Hi John: Is this power loss a momentary thing? Does a change of attitude affect it? Does it usually happen on the first flight of the morning? Does it happen after the engine is thoroughly warmed up? Our small Continentals have a tendency for the valves to stick. This could be causing your power loss right after take off.
