Ah, yes, Bill’s right.  I remember now that I had to put in my approximate lat / lon when my GPS was new so it could find itself.  Try that along with the ½ hour “figure-out-where-I-am” period and there’s a good chance it’ll work.

 

For inputting the starting location, there may be a special input method.

Hi Bob,
One other methold that might work . Just enter your present location in the GPS. It will capture the satellites much quicker if it knows where to start.
