Hi Steve.
I have a polished Coupe and got it with the underside painted.
The underside of the wings and the belly are all painted in some light
grey,
which is barely visible.
That saves me a lot of work when polishing.
I would not reskin the plane, that seems to me too much work and you end
up
having the same problem in some time. Anodizing changes the color of the
aluminum - you might as well paint it.

You can not tell that it is painted .
