After a little research, I did find two AD's referring to the problem of
standpipe failure.
AD # 46-46-01 addresses the potential failure of the standpipe ( see SB
#15.)
and AD # 55-22-02 addresses potential failure and replacement of the header
tanks...ref Bulletins 10, 10A; Memo 31 and 43.
It appears that if SB #15 was correctly followed, the airplane was probably
legal....even tho Memo #43 states the older system is no longer used or
available...and no parts would be available for repairs.
There was another AD 47-50-10 which was replaced by AD
55-22-02... I do not have copies of that AD, but it was replaced by
55-22-02.
