Welcome to the world of Ercouping, you'll enjoy it.

This subject has been beaten to death, but I'll summarize. The rules say
that in order to be qualified for a Sport Pilot plane, the aircraft must
be
certificated at 1260 or under. If it's 1261, it's not Sport qualified.
Fantasize however you would like, but it ain't gonna happen and I
sincerely
hope people don't piss the feds off by continually trying to bend the
rules,
write new rules or demand that their own interpretation is valid and must
be
accepted. We're lucky as hell to have the 415C's and CD's in the Sporty
group. Originally they didn't qualify.

Enjoy your plane for what it is. A wonderful little fun flyer.
