I've never needed a hole in my plate.  Just keep an eye on your oil temperature gauge, and remove the plate when the temperature gets too high.

Hi Donald and Sydney... Thanks for answering my querry about the cold weather kit for the 'Coupe.

 

Should the blanking plate have a hole in it to provide some cooling or is this a trial and test method and incrase the size of hole as required.
