Hello All,
SB 32 is a very disturbing subject and is not going away cheaply.
We have had some optimistic and some pessimistic opinions as to
what the FAA will do.  The reality is that when the TC holder starts the
ball rolling it will not stop and only gets bigger.  Examples:  AD 2002 -
26-02  (2/14/03) is a result of S/B 31 (1/29/02).   AD 94-18-04  (8/25/94)
was a result of S/B 29 (1/27/94).  As you can see the FAA responded
quite quickly with the AD note, comment time is included in this short
reaction time of the FAA.   To make matters worse  compliance of an
AD usually requires a report of findings to the FAA, which often ends up
being a revision to the S/B or AD or a new AD.
   I believe S/B 27 opened the door to S/B 29 then S/B 31 and now
S/B 32.  I hope for mine and everyone else's sake that I am wrong
with my opinion.  To bad we don't have an owners club that supports
the airplane instead of socializing.  As you might tell I'm POed that my
investment has the potential of being "airport art".  I'm sorry to start
the day with gloom.
