I suggest we all download a copy of the Chart for posting at our airports.....
 
Continentals are prone to icing more than Lycomings. I think due to the fact the air inlets in a Lycoming pass thru the oil sump, warming the air - helping to reduce the carb ice potential.
 
I have recently experienced icing in my C-85 at cruise in humid weather......first time in the last couple of years...I expect the conditions were just right - humidity, temperature, dew point....Application of Carb heat quickly cured the decrease in rpm, and loss of power....
