Randy, pull the wing to fuselage fairings and check for a leak in the inboard fuel tank bulkhead. It really sounds to me like that is your problem. You should be able to see the blue stains where it is leaking . A leak there will run down the center section spar into the fuselage.

Does anybody else have this problem: when I top off my fuel tanks with gas, and then take off, I have fuel misting around down by the main spar. We are usually flying open cockpit, and we only have the problem when we are in a climb attitude and only during the first 10 or 15 minutes of flight. If we fill the tank 2 inches from the top, there's no problem.
