If you are considering buying this aircraft I would suggest requesting a copy of the aircraft records from the FAA - well worth the few $ it costs for the CD (or photo copies). I would also take a good look at the logbooks. If this is not possible I would send the owner a questionaire and request copies of the pertinent data (337s, logbook entries, STCs, etc.) regarding this engine installation and any other modifications or repairs. I certainly would not lay out any money until able to inspect the aircraft and review the logbooks. There are at least three STCs for installing a C-90 in this model aircraft - SA465WE SA1-336 SA1-440 Plus, there are probably several that have field approvals (form 337).....trick is getting ahold of a copy or two.
