Here are the facts. 415 C with no radio's, yet. C85 with generator. Now live under B class airspace and have to have a transponder with mode C. If I have to install the transponder with mode C, I might as well get rid of the handheld radio and install a panel mount com radio. While I'm at it why not a intercom system and Garmon 396.
Okay now I am going from no radio's to a com radio, transponder/ mode C, GPS and intercom.
Here is the question. Do I need to change over to an alternator and if so then why?
Opinion anyone?
