It may affect it but the new LSA aircraft are quite different then the old guard spam cans. There will still be plenty of people that would rather fly the new LSA's that fly at close to 172 speeds on 1/3 the fuel and are actually fun to fly. And don't forget the ultralight crowd that was the original target of sport pilot. They are going to stay at sport.
