Bart: Get the whole number off the mags. 43XX is the current series. They are good mags, rebuildable and dependable.
The original 4000 series mags were designed for a service life of about 1000 hours and were not intended to be rebuilt. They were inexpensive but were to be discarded at the end of the service life.
