The RPM will usually be determined by the attitude of the plane when 
climbing out at full throttle. Other factors to be considered when 
comparing one aircraft with another include accuracy of tach, accuracy 
of airspeed indicator, actual takeoff weight, weather conditions and 
center of gravity. It's really difficult to do much comparison between 
planes unless both planes can document all of the factors that affect 
climb performance. Go through the exercise of documenting your 
aircraft's climb performance and perhaps others can comment on how your 
performance numbers stack up against theirs.
