I can only agree with Lynn.
The two Ercoupes I personally removed all unnecessary items could only brought
down to 920 lbs.

One has to consider that the ERCOs numbers refer to a plane with a wooden prop
and a basic set of instruments with no inspection covers. al the later changes
do add weight to the basic figure.

Hey Tony: I have to disagree with John. Those weights he quoted would
only work for a plane that was not painted,no upholostery, and had
cloth wings. I have weighed several coupes, and with paint, metal
wings, upholstery, and gyros you will find that they will weigh from
  920 to 965 pounds.
I actually flew a C model that belonged to a guy in Lake Wales that had
worked hard on reducing the weight. By taking out all unnecessary
  upholstery,
replacing the horse hair in the seats with lightweight foam, and having
the wings recovered with minimal material (no gyros or venturis) he was
able to get the actual empty weight down to around 830 pounds.
If the plane has been weighed in the last 10 years, you will find
  it well over 900 pounds.

Depending upon what is in it... 820 to 850lbs. No fuel or oil...
