And MRB says it must be a complete static test. FDK is taking the transponder out of the Ercoupe, bench checking it, replacing it in the aircraft and making the log book entries. They said the labor is for 2.5 hours. It is a radio check only, not a static test. No static tests are required unless the aircraft is used for IFR. If they're charging more than about $100, they're making a lot of money...
