Hi All,

Just remember to check the condition of your GPS batteries occasionally.

I had the unhappy experience of leaving the 196 plugged into the 12 volt supply 
for a very long time.  The batteries leaked and ate up a  spring in the battery 
compartment.  Heck of a cleanup job.....now I always have a nagging thought 
that maybe some of the crud is in there eating something else up.
