Hi Bob, This is just a guess. I had similar problems in ArcView 3.2 because I was picking the wrong datum and projection in the Georeferencing wizard in er mapper. ER Mapper 6.2 updated the projection options and I did not have the updated list so I kept picking the wrong datum for my needs. I do not use ArcGIS that much, but maybe because It has on the fly projection it deals with the ECW better then Arcview.
