In the first design discussions, there seemed to be a strong drive
to avoid any electrical umbilicals. At this point I don't consider
them to be too much of a big deal... I think the connection for the
tank pressure transducer on the KISS-2 configuration demonstrated 
that we can do them without violating "simplicity". Off-the-shelf
buck-a-dozen "D" connectors seem to work as well (for our purposes)
as anything, although there may be a place for Dan's little round 
miniature thingies in future iterations of the vehicle.
