I do use a CAD system for engine design, but its not something that anyone else could read. It was also used for the metal parts of the KISS rocket. If nothing more advanced comes our way, I'll probably keep using it. The package is suitable for 2-D shop drawings, but is a kludge (designed for PCB layout).
Dave W. designed/built the front half of the KISS rocket, and seems more comfortable with paper/pencil.
