The exception to this is if somebody was willing to take already existing
drawings and turn them into .dxf or .dwg files for future reference or
for distribution. This takes the CAD out of the critical path and makes
it more of a documentation tool than a design tool. It would be nice to
have a complete set of CAD files for the various KISS variants, for
example. The design would still be done using whatever tools the designer
preferred, but the documentation could be done by using CAD tools to
generate clean, consistent sets of prints.

All this assumes someone can be found who's willing to spend lots of
time CADifying other people's design work, and who has access to the
appropriate tools.
