This is an excellent point. It's great that we've standardized on TurboCAD, but not everyone will have a commercial copy of it or even uses an OS that TurboCAD will run on, so I'm thinking that it would be a good idea to require that DXF files be posted for every drawing that's posted to the list. John's already been doing this, and I don't care if the original maker of the drawing or someone else does the conversion. A corrollary would be that people shouldn't make necessary the use of any TurboCAD proprietary feature that would make a drawing unusable on another program.
