As I mentioned at the meeting last night, a well designed aerospike will actually show less performance than an optimized standard nozzle at SL. Thus, I would conclude that the Aerotech standard nozzle is not well designed. Their claim of improved efficiency is not persuading proof to me of aerospike activity.

It won't be a very _good_ aerospike, with just five nozzle around the circumfrence, but it's an aerospike. They claim a 37% improvement in efficiency. That's not surprising, since Aerotech nozzle are designed to be cheap, not efficient. >> _______________________________________________ ERPS-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.erps.org/mailman/listinfo/erps-list
