As I mentioned at the meeting last night, a well designed aerospike will actually show less performance than an optimized standard nozzle at SL. Thus, I would conclude that the Aerotech standard nozzle is not well designed. Their claim of improved efficiency is not persuading proof to me of aerospike activity.
And it isn't an aerospike nozzle anyway, it's a plug nozzle with a solid plug.
