Hm, but what exactly is the problem with overlapping ?? I mean, you're working on a particular project; ok, you could have subprojects, and dependencies (other projects). The overlapping you're talking about is when you have two projects both using a third one ? If so, I don't really see the problem -- even if this third one was created as a subproject somewhere, it should still be accessible easily (that's what I was trying to say with my project navigator point...)
