Isn't that what the "Shns in circulation" list is all about? To keep track of what's out there are where (originally) it came from? Of course, that doesn't prevent somebody from MP3-ing a perfectly decent digital source (the HORROR!! :-0 ) and passing it off as a SHN.
Maybe the important thing to be made clear is 1) support Tom Anderson's important work and 2) NEVER pass on a recording that has been MP3-encoded without a clear disclaimer. JM2C ...
