the Shn in Circulation is only good if every show ever
put into shn format is doucumented and put into that
list of shows. Etree is not the only group of traders
that use shn. Using Direct Connect( a file sharing
app/group) you will find lots of shn files from
various bands that will probably never make it to the
etre list for one reaso nor another.
Also with many ses of mics at shows if every one
person that ran a deck and mics converted to shn there
are bound to be some shn shows( say that 5 times fast)
left off of any documented list of shns in circulation
and some that may not follow the etree naming format.
Knowing the lineage is nice, preserves history
accurately and is cool to read, but, if not having it
takes the fun out of getting and listening( isnt
listening what its really about?) then we've forgotten
where all this live show collecting started and what
the real reasons( at least to me should be) it was all
about. Hearing a killer jam.
