More info would be great, and I think i read yesterday that a big list of
taper-friendly bands is being worked on. Maybe a link to this list can be
placed at db.etree.org.
I still think some sort of 'user-agreement' could work in the sense that
it could be more of a legal disclaimer for etree.org, and possibly
something that could distinguish the differences between a "database of
peoples lists" and the mailing forum.
I don't believe people just getting into 'etree' would even read it, but
it may serve better as an official legal disclaimer. Lets face it, etree
isn't tight-knit anymore - which isn't entirely a bad thing. I think
things can get better, but that has alot to do with people reading the
FAQs (which are done so nicely and are so easy to understand).
I'm not sure what right anyone would have for shutting all of etree.org
down becuase of a few people. But i agree, that nothing is to stop them
from trying.
With etrade, many people rely on the quickness of their posts to start up
trades before they go to bed. I think a filter, or anything that may delay
the quickness would be a negative.
Whats ironic is that everyone who responded to my BnP offer asked for
bands that don't allow taping. Which is fine by me. Its all about the
music/and stealth bootleg liberation.
How easy is it just to look up a band on db.etree, and 1) first see if a
particular date exists for that particular band, and if so, 2) contact the
person who has a copy. ????????????
If your tired of this discussion, as many of you seem to be, stop reading
this for god sakes! Hahaha .... thats my two canadian cents. Go Canada!
