What OS are you running? If it's Windows 2000 or XP, a reboot will automatically occur if the OS encounters certain critical errors. This is a self-protection feature. I've seen my server (Win2000) do this.Something could be crashing you're OS.If you run either of these OS's and want further help, feel free to email me. As far as your power supply, get a 300 watt one, as others have recommended. If you're running all that crap inside, you're at risk of frying your 200 watt one. Also, as a general rule, NEVER listen to Gateway tech support. Most of them really have no idea what they're talking about. You could also have one of a million motherboard issues, as someone else pointed out. I would eliminate the possibility of any software issues before I tore my box apart, though. BEGIN PREVIOUS COMMUNIQUE: For several months now, my computer has been randomly shutting down, and then starting right back up. Its almost like a flicker....the way I've described it in the past is like someone is just barely taking the power cord out, and putting it right back in....The screen goes blank for an instant, and then it goes right into boot mode. _______________________________________________ etree.org etree mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://mail.etree.org/mailman/listinfo/etree Need help?
