How are you calling spamassassin? if it's from /etc/procmailrc then a record of what was filtered when should be in /var/log/procmaillog (if that's where procmail is logging to) Spamassassin would be my first suspect; and you may want to see if whitelisting mail within the domain gets rid of the problem. Or change the weight on the scoring rule that's getting triggered.
