Go directly to Maxtor. I lost a Maxtor disk last year, and getting a
replacement was relatively painless. I did have to put the disk in a
box and mail it. If you want, you can have Maxtor send you the box.
(I don't remember if they charge for it.)
Returning something at Fry's is always painful.
