I had trouble with the resolution during the install until I discovered
that pressing F2 before starting the install let me change the
resolution to something a little more reasonable.

I just finished an FTP install of SuSE 10.1. I answered a few questions
to get it started and came back 3 hours later (Comcast) to finalize the
settings. Turned out to be the easiest install ever.
