[Eug-lug] Open Office Writer - how do I turn OFF Outlining

Open Office Writer - how do I turn OFF Outlining. I go to preferences 
"writer" and there seems to be no way.

I am being made mad by trying to change numbered and lettered indents 
with it trying to "help" and please help me.

Make it stop.
