Funniest part about it is that now that I've got my Ubuntu box online (a
million and one thank yous again Mike!), I find that I don't go online using my
windows machine as much. It seems there isn't too much I can do online on my
Winblows box that I can't do with my linux machine.

You are actually right. Amazing how many people don't RTFM.
n00bs. "Discontinuing support for" and "AVG will no longer be
free" are two very different things. Can't believe how many
people I get asking about that. As mentioned though, ClamWin is
shaping up to be a nice contender. Fair warning, it does not
'actively' scan files as they come in yet. I'm sure it is a goal
by 1.0 (current .88.6)

That's the end of my rant for poor virus gettin' Windows users.
FWIW, I ran the AVG linux version on a Ubuntu box and it claimed
to have found a virus in Cinelerra. Rather amusing it was.

That be all,
Mr O.
