When I first begin driving in the morning, I must depress the accelerator pedal twice to get power. The first press is like a "prime" ... nothing happens. Second press and I move out. From then on, usually, it works as advertised, EXCEPT: Every once in a while, while waiting for a stop light, the same thing happens again. The light turns green, I press the pedal ... nothing. Release and press again - off we go. (While waiting, the accelerator fully released and main contactor opens.)
Very puzzling. Very interesting, too, on an up-hill start and I start rolling backwards, expecting power to move forward. Roger Daisley www.electvw.com "Where Revolutionary New Ideas Are Not Always New Or Revolutionary"
