Fitting Safts to a Sparrow would be something of a challenge. Remember, they're 6 volt modules. To make 156 volts you'd probably have to carry some in your lap and on the roof. <g> Practically speaking you'd probably need to change the motor and controller to a system designed for lower voltage (84-96 volts?). You might end up with a different motor torque curve, and so require a final drive modification. None of this is impossible by any means, but it's also not quite as simple as just changing the battery and charger. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Want to unsubscribe, stop the EV list mail while you're on vacation, or switch to digest mode?
