Umm, you seem to have had something that was WILDLY different from me!  My 
CommutaVan topped out at 45mph (50 on a long steep hill), and had about 
20mi range - at which point the batteries were completely dead.  (I really 
murdered that pack!)

As I've mentioned before.  I already drive very conservatively with it.  My 
highest current draws are generally when I have to maintain speed up a 6% 
grade, at which time I'm running about 150A.
